Who is Sarah Jane?

Sarah Jane is the founder of gwangurl and your favourite dance teacher.

Born and raised in Cork City Ireland Sarah brings a rebellious, fun and supportive spirit to dance.  She specialises in teaching absolute beginners and loves working through the nitty gritty with you.

Sarah has trained in many different styles and prestigious schools over the past 25 years as well as working in studio management and castings but ultimately it is her obsession with dance and love of empowering people that makes her a great teacher.

Adoring many different styles of dance and music genres she delivers fresh and exciting classes. Her vast training shows up in choreography, often fusing multiple styles and using the lyrics to keep a fun story telling flare.

Her ability to break steps down and understand her students is unmatched.
